( I don`t like that someone changed my sentence from has been killed" to he got killed" - it was correct and I dissagree that sounded wrong -.- )

| eBay and got (well, actually it should have been had instead of has. The reason is that you wrote "killed" which is past tense, and therefore it's had and not has. Only a one-letter difference, but means a lot to the sentence as whole. I think everyone got the general idea, and this topic is supposed to be fun, so no more grammar-talk) | |

| he went mad
(That is not the problem. The problem is the meaning of it. The grammar is not wrong, but in the combination of the other words it just sounds wierd. "Has been killed" killed sounds like he's dead already, and being killed again (so does had been though...). But with my post of "but then he" the words "has been killed" won't really fit, as "but then he" is saying that he's doing something or that something is been done to him. So, after thinking about it, you were not wrong in the grammar, it was just the two posts that made it sound wierd. Can we just leave it at that? Either way I'm done with English grammar:P Got enough of that in school already^^)

| and threw his
(well, we`re talking about the past here and the most important thing for us are results of that what happened in the past, so I used present perfect and it `s correct. I could use past simple here. You`re right Alanna, it can sound weird, but anyway he shouldn`t have changed my sentence)
